A video showing rows of empty chairs at an event venue is being widely circulated by influencers, political workers, and propagandists, claiming it as evidence of a low turnout during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address at the ‘Hala Modi’ event in Kuwait. However, this narrative is misleading. The video appears to have been recorded either before the event began or after it concluded, during a time when the venue was empty. Verified footage from the actual event shows a packed venue filled with an enthusiastic audience.

The truth behind the claims from Kuwait, Fact Check
As soon as the posts containing the video and claims came to our notice. Subsequently, we conducted research and analysis of the video. We found that the video was recorded when Prime Minister Narendra Modi was not present at the event.
To verify the claims made by the users. We performed relevant keyword searches and found the full speech of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The complete video of the event shows the venue filled, with a large and enthusiastic crowd in attendance.
We also found a similar video of empty chairs, recorded before the event began, during the preparation phase when the venue was being set up.
Therefore, it is evident from verified sources that the video was not recorded during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech but at a different time.
