Fact Check: Empty chairs during PM Narendra Modi’s speech at the ‘Hala Modi’ event in Kuwait?

A video showing rows of empty chairs at an event venue is being widely circulated by influencers, political workers, and propagandists, claiming it as evidence of a low turnout during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address at the ‘Hala Modi’ event in Kuwait. However, this narrative is misleading. The video appears to have been recorded either before the event began or after it concluded, during a time when the venue was empty. Verified footage from the actual event shows a packed venue filled with an enthusiastic audience.

Sharing the video on X (Formerly Twitter) @jawharsircar wrote, “A friend sent this to call the bluff about Modi’s packed stadium in Kuwait.”
