Pakistani propaganda accounts are circulating a digitally manipulated video of Indian Air Force Chief, Air Chief Marshal A. P. Singh, falsely claiming that he spoke about the so-called saffronization of the Indian Army, expressed support for Rahul Gandhi on caste-related issues within the forces, and alleged that the Trishul exercises were being used to promote the central government ahead of the Bihar elections. These claims are entirely fake and fabricated. The video has been digitally altered, and in the original footage, Air Chief Marshal A. P. Singh made no such remarks. Allegations of saffronization within the Indian Army are baseless and part of Pakistan’s ongoing disinformation campaign targeting India’s defense institutions.
A propaganda account @InsiderWB posted the digitally manipulated video, claiming:
“Breaking News: Indian Air Chief decides to open up on the accusations of saffronization of the Indian Army, openly claims that ‘I stand with Rahul Gandhi on the issue of casteism within the Indian Army. Trishul exercises are being used to prop up the central government for Bihar elections.’”

Several other accounts @Mustafamalik29, @RubabSayss, @fragranceofluv, @Aqqssaa12, and @PAK_Defence_ reshared and amplified the clip across social media, further spreading the false narrative.

Truth: Original Video Shows No Such Remarks; The Clip Was Digitally Manipulated
As the digitally manipulated video gained widespread traction on social media, it drew our attention. The D-Intent Data Team launched a detailed investigation. We conducted a frame-by-frame analysis of the viral video and compared it with original footage available on credible media outlets. Our investigation led us to the verified sources including @PTI_News, which posted a video titled “Not opposed to the new structure,” says IAF Chief Air Chief Marshal A. P. Singh on the theaterisation move as well as Business Standard’s YouTube channel featuring IDC 2025 Interactive Session with Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh, and coverage by Bharat Shakti during the India Defence Conclave 2025.

In the authentic videos, Air Chief Marshal A. P. Singh discussed the theaterisation process, joint operations, and modernization efforts within the Indian Air Force. At no point did he make any remarks regarding saffronization, Rahul Gandhi, or political interference within the armed forces. Therefore, it is confirmed that the viral clip was digitally altered to falsely attribute political statements to the Air Chief. The fabricated video is a clear attempt to spread misinformation, create confusion, and undermine the credibility of India’s military leadership.
