An image circulating on social media shows an individual carrying a weapon in a market, with the claim that it depicts a Kuki militant from Manipur, India. However, this claim is misleading and false. Upon closer examination, it has been revealed that the image was actually taken in Khampat, Myanmar, and not in Manipur. The individual in the photo is not connected to the ongoing conflict in Manipur, and the image has been falsely associated with the region.
