A video showing a large number of assault rifles laid out on the ground in an open area is being circulated with the claim that it shows a recent arms bust in Lucknow, India. According to the viral claim, authorities recovered 3,000 guns, 50,000 cartridges in 20 sacks, and cash from the house of one “Hakim Salauddin.” However, this claim is misleading. The video is old and has been available online since at least August 2021.
One user, @manamuntu, posted the clip with the false claim about a major weapons recovery in Lucknow.

Another account, @Global__persp1, amplified the misinformation after it gained traction but later deleted the post.
Truth Behind The Clip:
As the video spread widely, it caught our attention. The D-Intent Data Team immediately began investigating. Through reverse image search and frame-by-frame video analysis, we traced the clip back to 2021. It was posted on YouTube by a channel named Ayan Karel and also shared by X user @war_ragex in the same year.

Based on initial shares and metadata, the footage originates from Afghanistan, not Lucknow, and has no connection to any recent arms seizure in India.
