Sharing the video on X (Formerly Twitter), propaganda account @QueenBangla wrote, “A Hindu man brings his 5000 years of culture to America.”
The truth behind the claims, Fact Check
As soon as the posts containing the video and claims came to our notice. Subsequently, we conducted research and analysis of the video. We found that the individual was not an Indian but from a different country.
To verify the claims made by propagandists. We performed a reverse image search of some keyframes from the video using Google Lens. This led us to several initial posts (1, 2) and a media report regarding the video. According to the media report, this is an old video, available online since at least October 2024. There are no verified or credible sources confirming that the individual is an Indian or Hindu. The identity of the individual remains unverified. In the longer version of the video, it is evident that the individual was most probably from an American colored community.
Therefore, it is evident from D-Intent Data’s Fact Check that the individual was not an Indian, as claimed by propagandists.
