The truth about the viral video, Fact Check
As soon as the posts containing the video of street fights involving men and women came to our notice. Subsequently, we conducted research and analysis of the video and found that it was an old video of a staged street fight from France.
To verify the claims made by the users, we analyzed the video. Opon a close observation we found that some people were wearing t-shirts with CUC written on it. Taking cue from it, we visited CUC’s Instagram account. And found the same video on their timeline uploaded in November 2023. The video was uploaded with a caption ‘Street fight’, and multiple hashtags like #Martialarts #Boxing, #Cinema, #Choreography were also used.
