Another propaganda account @MeghUpdates has also disseminated the video and wrote. “Mobile phone addiction is getting dangerous”. The post has received more than 4 million views, 19k likes and a significant number of engagements.

As soon as the posts containing the sensitive video and claims came to our notice. Subsequently, we conducted research and analysis of the video and found that the video was not related to a real-life situation but a scripted video created for entertainment and educational purposes.
To verify the claims made by the users. We performed a reverse image search of some key frames from the viral video on Google Lens. This led us to a Facebook post containing a longer version of the video. ‘IdeasFactory’ posted this video on Facebook with a disclaimer that reads “Thank you for watching! Please be aware that this page features scripted dramas and parodies as well. These short films are for entertainment & educational purposes only! Characters in this video are entertainment and educational purposes”.

It is important to note that the Facebook page ‘IdeasFactory‘ is the official Facebook page of ‘3RD EYE‘ which is known for creating such videos on YouTube.

Therefore, it is evident from D-Intent Data’s Fact Check that the viral video was not a real-life incident but a scripted video created for entertainment and educational purposes.
