The truth about the viral video from Narsingdi, Fact Check

As soon as the posts containing the sensitive video and claims came to our notice. Subsequently, we conducted research and analysis of the incident. And found that the victim was not a Hindu individual but a Muslim.

To verify the claims made by the users. We performed a relevant keyword search and found a report regarding the incident. According to the report (1, 2, 3), a man named Hanif Mia was murdered due to a previous enmity in Narsingdi, Bangladesh. The reports say Hanif hacked his uncle Habu Mia to death due to a previous enmity three months ago. Due to this, Habu Mia’s two sons, Nadeem Mia and Naeem Mia, hacked Hanif Mia with a chapati and ran away.

Narsingdi Sadar Model Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Abdul Ghaffar said that. The victim of the murder, Hanif Mia, had killed his maternal uncle three months ago. In view of this, it is believed that the Mammoth brothers hacked him to death.

Therefore, it is evident from verified sources that the incident was not related to religious hate crimes against Hindus in Bangladesh. But a result of personal enmity between two groups of Muslim community.
