Pakistan-based anti-India propaganda accounts are spreading false claims alleging that four Indian soldiers were killed and two injured in an IED blast in the Makri area of the Bhawani sector, Nowshera. However, these assertions are baseless and fabricated. According to official sources, on January 14, 2025, six Army personnel were injured in a landmine explosion in a forward village in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. The incident occurred around 10:45 a.m. when a soldier accidentally stepped on a landmine near Khamba Fort in the Nowshera sector during a patrol.
