Pakistan-based anti-India propaganda accounts are circulating unfounded claims that the United States has denied an urgent request from India to purchase F-35 stealth fighter jets. These allegations are entirely false and lack any factual basis. In truth, India has not formally submitted any request to acquire the F-35. Instead, recent reports indicate that India is gearing up for Aero India 2025, a biennial air show and aviation exhibition scheduled to be held at the Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru from February 10 to 15.

The truth behind the claims behind F-35 stealth fighter jets, Fact Check
As soon as the posts containing the claims made by propagandists came to our notice. Subsequently, we conducted research and analysis of the claims. We found that these claims were fake and fabricated.
To verify the claims made by propagandists. We performed relevant keyword searches but couldn’t find any verified, credible and official sources supporting these claims. India has not made any official request to acquire the F-35. Recent reports suggest India is preparing for Aero India 2025, a biennial air show and aviation exhibition set to take place at the Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru from February 10 to 15. Russia is expected to showcase its advanced fifth-generation stealth fighter, the Su-57 Felon, while there is speculation that the U.S. may also present the F-35 Lightning II at the event.
Notably, during Aero India 2023, the United States brought the F-35 to India for the first time. However, India did not express interest in the aircraft at that time. Currently, India is not considering the F-35 fighter jet, though the U.S. has shown interest in offering it to India.
Therefore, it is evident from verified sources that India has not made any official statement regarding purchasing F-35 fighter jets.
