An image of two young girls has been circulated with claims that they were murdered by extremists in Bangladesh while returning home from Vijaya Dashami celebrations. However, these claims are false. Local media reports indicate that the girls died from consuming toxic alcohol in Faridpur, and there is no evidence of murder involved.
Sharing the image on X (Formerly Twitter) propagandist account @RadharamnDas wrote. Both of these Hindu girls were brutally murdered while returning home after celebrating Vijay Dashmi in Bangladesh. The Nobel Peace Prize-led interim government is busy censoring the cries and pleas of Bangladeshi Hindus, while India focuses on giving five-star treatment to Bangladeshi cricketers. Shame on you, @BCCI
Another account @ssaratht also made a post and wrote. While both these Hindu girls were brutally murdered by Islamists while returning home after celebrating #VijayaDashmi in Bangladesh. In India Hindu girls have gone mad and are supporting Islamists for reels and payments.

The truth behind the claims, Fact Check
As soon as the post containing the claims came to our notice. Subsequently, we conducted research and analysis of the incident and found that the two girls died after consuming toxic alcohol, not murdered.
To verify the claims made by the users. We performed a relevant keyword search and found local media reports citing police sources. These two girls died after consuming toxic alcohol in Faridpur, Bangladesh. The claims about murder are false and baseless.
Faridpur Kotyali Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. confirmed the matter on Saturday afternoon. Asaduzzaman. The deceased are Pooja Biswas (20), a first-year honors student of Government Rajendra College and daughter of Sadhan Biswas of Dibala village of Shalika upazila of Magura and Ratna Saha (22), a degree student of the same college and daughter of Ratan Kumar Saha of Amgram of Boalmari upazila of Faridpur.
The deceased lived in a rented house in the Kanai Matubbar Mor area of the district town Alipur. They are friends. Both were working part-time in a private company. Bithi Biswas, aunt (aunt) of deceased Pooja Biswas lived in the same house. He works in a private clinic.
Bithi Biswas told Ajker newspaper, “Yesterday evening while I was on duty, Pooja called me and said that Pooja would go out for a walk.” Ratna Saha also goes with him. Later, both of them returned home around 10:30 pm. Around 1 am, Ratna Saha and Pooja Biswas fell ill and started vomiting. Then said that they consumed alcohol.
