FACT:A sensitive video is being circulated on social media in which a group of young boys can be seen beating up a guy with stick. Video shared with misleading claim that the victim boy is Dilshad, who belongs to a minority community,was blackmailing and threatening a Hindu girl named Nisha Jat with acid attack in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.But fact is that this is an old video from Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal where some student thrashed the guy in August 2022. Nothing to do with Uttar Pradesh, religion or love Jihad Accused and victim belong to same religion.

INTENT: Users sharing old video from Madhya Pradesh, claiming to be from Uttar Pradesh and giving it religious angle to create communal unrest in the state.
