A misleading news is being circulated on social media in which it is being said that some Hindu guys thrashed a man belongs to minority community because he was talking to a Hindu female friend in a bus in Dakshina Kannada District, Karnataka. Upon research we found police statement regarding this incident, according to police statement on the evening of 4 April 2023 there was an altercation between Muhammad Zaheer and four others over trivial issue near Ujire bus stand under Belthangady police station. Zaheer and four other people got into fight belongs to same village and the reason of fight is several issues . In this fight Mohammad Zaheer got injured and filed police complaint against accused who have been arrested by police. Absolutely nothing to do with religion. Police urged the public not to believe in fake news that is being widely circulated. Appropriate legal action will be taken against those spreading fake news.
