Old Video Showing Water Cannon Being Used to Disperse the Protestors, Resurfaced as Farmers’ Protest 2024: Fact-Check 

A video purporting to be from the ongoing Farmers Protest 2024 protest has gone viral, showing the demonstrators being dispersed with a water cannon.

@devender18redhu shared the video in a twitter post and claimed that the water canon is being used to disperse the protestors from Farmers Protest 2024. The tweet was made on Feb 13, 2024. The archive can be read from above.

What is the Actual Truth About this Incident? : Fact

The same video, which was posted in December 2020, was discovered on a YouTube channel. This video, according to the YouTube channel, depicts water cannon being used on farmers’ protesters in Delhi in 2020. It is not related to the current protests. The claim that water cannons being used to disperse the protestors from Farmers Protest 2024 is absolutely not true at all.
