Pakistani media is spreading a false narrative alleging that Azad Kashmir citizens, who unintentionally crossed the Line of Control (LOC) were killed by the Indian Army.

What is the Actual Reality About the Incident? : Fact

The truth is that three people were injured by Pakistani Rangers opening fire along the J&K border, including two BSF jawans.

The Indian Express published an article on this incident with the headline “3, including 2 BSF jawans, injured as Pak Rangers open fire along border in J&K’s Arnia, RS Pura sectors”.

This incident originated in the Arnia, RS Pura sectors. Numerous residents were forced to flee their homes as a result of the unprovoked ceasefire violation, which occurred almost 2.5 years ago. Initially aiming for almost six locations, Pakistan began firing at midnight in the Suchetgarh sector.
A group of people was escorted by Pakistani Rangers close to the international border on their side.But the BSF fired warning shots and made them retreat.

The news article by The Indian Express, published on Oct 27, 2023, gave a clarity about the incident.
