According to a video that has gone viral, Karnataka Energy Minister K.J. George said that if the Congress government ever takes over the neighbouring state Telangana, then, Karnataka should take its power from Telangana.

Latha (“@LathaReddy704“) claimed in a twitter post that Sensational comments were made by Karnataka Power Minister George during a meeting with prominent industrialists of the state. Since Telangana has power, it said to take it from Karnataka. They intend to take the electricity of Telangana. The tweet post was made on Nov 28, 2023.

Several other accounts, including Telugu Scribe (“@TeluguScribe“), @NaveenTs24, Anil Rao (“@BRSanilR“) claimed the same that George, the Karnataka Power Minister, made some shocking comments during a meeting with prominent industrialists in the state.
