Banda, Uttar Pradesh — Ram Bhakts Attacked By Muslim Community While Distributing “Akshat Chawal”? Fact-Check 

A circulated video purports to show an injured person on a stretcher, and it depicts Ram Bhakts (Ram Devotees) being attacked by members of a minority community while they were distributing “Akshat Chawal” in Banda, UP.

PRIYA RANA (“@priyarana3101“) tweeted “#बांदा – There was fierce fighting during the Akshat Rice Kalash Yatra. The tweet was made on Jan 8, 2024.

Several other accounts, including UNITED INDIA NEWS (“@united_ind_news“), @bstvlive, @Bharat24Up, @UPkesari made the same claim that in Banda, Uttar Pradesh, Ram devotees were allegedly beaten by members of other communities while they distributed rice.
