Several other accounts, including @hilalians8, @MaryamBaloch62, @SamirBhai9992, @just_act made the same claim that Jammu and Kashmir residents from both J & K and POK, marked the Indian Republic Day as the Black Day. What is the Actual Truth About this Incident? : Fact
The truth is that these assertions are made up and fraudulent. Nothing to do with actuality. Celebrations of Republic Day were observed with tremendous enthusiasm and patriotism throughout Kashmir. In the meantime, the same individuals spread propaganda using pictures from years ago.
We visited Kashmir Observer, which published an article on Oct 22, 2021 with the headline “In Photos | Security Beefed Up Across Kashmir Ahead Of Amit Shah’s Visit”. Greater Kashmir posted an article on Jan 27, 2024 with the headline “75th Republic Day celebrations held across Kashmir” which shows that the claims made are absolutely fake. Even Rising Kashmir also published an article which shows that there was nothing as such as was claimed. The article was posted on Jan 27, 2024 with the headline “75th Republic Day celebrated across Kashmir with patriotic fervour”.
