There are rumours going around that lone Hindu family in Darbhanga village in Bihar has been forced to turn to Islam.

Verified accounts on twitter, including @MrSinha_ tweeted “In a MusIim majority village of Darbhanga (Bihar), the only Hindu family is being forced to convert to IsIam. MusIims aren’t letting him practice his religious activities as well. The helpless family is begging for help from the govt. This is what happens when they become the majority at any place. Is it acceptable?? Is it Secularism? When we talk against it, they declare us hate mongers. Help him @NitishKumar @bihar_police” on Feb 4, 2024. The tweet went viral after receiving an about 920.1k views on X, contributing to the spread of the information.

Several other accounts, including @MeghUpdates, @SaffronSunanda, @TimesAlgebraIND, @_treeni, @RituRathaur also made the same claim that Hindu family in the Bihar village of Darbhanga is being coerced into becoming Muslims, leading to the pressure of religious conversion to live in the village.
