The video circulated as the victim was innocent and was beaten up as a result of a hate crime. As soon as this video came to our notice, we started an investigation and found a police statement regarding the viral video on the official Twitter account of Sitapur police. According to the police a few days ago on August 6, 2023, the victim man threw bricks and stones at the villagers from his terrace and injured the villagers, subsequently the injured villagers were sent to hospital for treatment while police protected the man from the angry crowd at that time. The allegations are to be verified. Hence according to the police statement, we can say that the victim was not innocent as he confronted the villagers after pelting stones at them.
