A few days ago, CAIR and TRT released false information alleging that a 20-year-old Palestinian American was attacked in Ohio state while walking home, and the attackers shouted,  “Long live Israel” and anti-Palestinian remarks at him.

A tweet was made by CAIR National (“@CAIRNational“) claiming “An individual in a dark SUV reportedly hit a man in Ohio before shouting “long live Israel” and anti-Palestinian slurs at him. We urge law enforcement authorities to fully investigate this disturbing attack and charge the perpetrator with a hate crime.” after sharing the picture of the injured in the hospital.

TRT World (“@trtworld“) tweeted ” A 20-year-old Palestinian American who was walking home has been assaulted in Ohio state, according to the Council on American-Islamic Relations [CAIR]. A car hit the victim on October 22 while the driver yelled, “Kill all Palestinians”, “Long live Israel,” and “Die!“, CAIR said. The victim was transferred to a hospital to treat his injuries. CAIR has called on the “state and federal law enforcement authorities to investigate the alleged assault as a hate crime.” ” The tweet was made on Oct 25, 2023, which has received an about 17.4k views on X.

Several other accounts, including Imraan Siddiqi (“@imraansiddiqi“) also claimed the same that another Palestinian American in Ohio has been assaulted. The archive can be read from above.

What is the Actual Truth About the Incident? : Fact

He staged a purported hate crime attack, according to police. It was discovered by the police that Hesham A. Ayyad had made this whole thing up. He had actually been injured in an earlier fight with his brother Khalil and had not been hit by car or been subjected to racial slurs.
