FACT: A sensitive video is being circulated on social media in which a man can be seen torturing an innocent child by hanging on a tree upside down. Video has been shared with misleading claim that this incident took place somewhere in Odisha,India. Upon research we found this video is from Bangladesh, where a man named Mohammad Mamun Sheikh tortured his 8-month-old child Al Habib by hanging him on a mango tree next to the house. The incident took place on 27 February 2023 at Raghunathpur in Lohagara upazila,Bangladesh. The child was rescued and accused was arrested. Nothing to do with Odisha or any Indian state.
