An image circulating online shows individuals holding and disrespecting a banner of actor and politician Pawan Kalyan, with claims that it is a recent incident related to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam laddus controversy. However, this image is actually old and has been available online since at least July 2023. No recent incident of this nature has occurred.
Sharing the image on X (Formerly Twitter) propagandist account @dhruvrahtee wrote. “Latest from Andhra Pradesh, #PawanKalyan”. The post has received more than 230k views, 11.5k likes and a significant number of engagements.

As soon as the posts containing the image and claims came to our notice. Subsequently, we conducted research and analysis of the image and found that the image was not recent but an old image and has been available online at least since July 2023.
To verify the claims made by the users. We performed a reverse image search on Google Lens. This led us to a post on X (Formerly Twitter) uploaded in July 2023. However, we couldn’t find more details about the image but it is clear that the image is not related to the recent TTD laddus row.
Therefore, it is evident from D-Intent Data’s Fact Check that the image was not recent but an old image and has been available online at least since July 2023.
