The truth behind the claims, Fact Check

As soon as the posts containing the claims came to our attention. Subsequently, we conducted research and analysis regarding the claims. We found that these claims are false and fabricated.

To verify the claims made by users. We performed a relevant keyword search and found multiple reports regarding the incident. According to reports (1, 2, 3, 4), Oscar-winning Palestinian director Hamdan Ballal was attacked by Israeli settlers during a raid in the southern West Bank village of Susya. Following the incident, he was detained by Israeli forces and later released. Hence, he was not killed.

Additionally, we found the IDF official statement, which stated, “Last night near Susiya, several Palestinians threw stones at Israeli civilians, damaging their vehicles. This led to a violent confrontation involving mutual stone-throwing between Palestinians and Israelis. When IDF and police forces arrived to disperse the clash, some Palestinians threw stones at them. The forces arrested three Palestinians suspected of attacking the security forces and one Israeli involved in the violence. An injured Israeli was taken for medical treatment. Claims that a Palestinian was arrested from an ambulance were denied.

Therefore it is evident from verified sources that he was not killed.
