However, D-Intent Data has discovered that the image was captured in 2019 while the couple announced divorce in July 2021.

The truth about the viral image of Kiran Rao, Fact Check
As soon as the posts containing the image and claims came to our notice. Subsequently, we conducted research and analysis of the image and found that the image was not recent but from 2019.
To verify the claims made by the users. We performed a reverse image search using Google Lens. This led us to a media report containing the same image. According to the media report, the photograph in question dates back to September 2019, when Kiran Rao was spotted walking on the streets of Bandra, Mumbai. Additionally, we conducted a keyword search about their divorce and found multiple reports stating that Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao announced their divorce in July 2021. Therefore, the image was taken before their separation.
