The truth about the viral video claiming to be Rohingyas, Fact Check
As soon as the posts containing the video of passengers assaulting two men inside the moving train came to our notice, we conducted research and analysis of the video and found that the video was unrelated to illegal Rohingyas or Bangladeshi.
To verify the claims made by the users. We conducted a keyword search on Google. This led us to a YouTube video containing a longer version of the same incident. The video was uploaded 12 days ago by a YouTube vlogger named ‘RCM Daily Vlogs‘. No details were mentioned about the person. As per the post, the video was recorded on the Naini-Doon Jan Shatabdi Express, where the two thieves were caught red-handed. Also, a closer examination reveals that the men in the video speak the local language, not a foreign one. Additionally, there are no authoritative sources or evidence to support the assertion made on social media.
Therefore, it is evident from D-Intent Data’s Fact Check that the video was related to illegal Rohingyas, as no verified sources support the claims.
