According to the reports (1, 2), the Pimpri Chinchwad crime branch busted a sex racket on Tuesday, arresting a female agent who operated through a mobile messenger app and was involved with four women from Thailand.
Senior Inspector Digambar Suryavanshi informed media outlets that police received a tip-off about a foreign national running a sex racket in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad. The arrested agent arranged for customers to book villas in areas like Talegaon Dabhade and Lonavla before sending the women. All five women had arrived in India on tourist visas four months ago. The arrested agent was handed over to the Hinjewadi police while the other four were sent to a rescue home.
