A video showing a group of women marching semi-naked through the streets has been circulating online with claims that Muslim women are protesting against the burqa by going semi-naked. However, these claims are false and the video is not related to protest against the burqa only.
Sharing the video on X (Formerly Twitter) propagandist account @SonOfBharat7 wrote, “Jin Jiyan Azadi”. Kurdish women in Paris demonstrated for freedom wearing black sacks/burqas, carrying freedom posters in many languages.”

Another account @Saralsuman1 also shared the video and wrote, “This is not obscenity – this is a rebellion against Muslim religious extremism. A protest in Paris led by Kurdish (Kurdish – who are Muslim) women against the hijab (burqa). The movement focuses on issues such as the burqa, honor killings, forced marriage, gender inequality, and more. I support” ( Translated from Nepali)
