Fact Check

Fact Check: The woman in the viral video doesn’t have 24 children, the scripted video goes viral

A video currently circulating online depicts a woman supposedly being interviewed by a news reporter. The video claims that a Hindu woman has 24 children (16 boys and 8 girls). However, this video is entirely fictional and scripted. The woman featured in the video is actually a content creator, and her work is part of the YouTube channel ‘Apna AJ.’

Sharing the video on X(Formerly Twitter) a user @99parinda wrote. If a Muslim woman gives birth to 4 children, it pains the heart of the people. And here a Hindu woman who has 24 children has 16 boys and 8 girls. This woman from UP State has made a double cricket team here. As of now, the post has received more than 700k views, 6k likes and a significant number of engagements.

The truth about the viral video of 24 children, Fact Check

As soon as the posts containing the video and claims came to our notice, we conducted research and analysis of the video and found that the video was scripted and didn’t reflect a real incident.

The video in question was uploaded by ‘Bharat Prime,’ and it includes a disclaimer on the screen that reads. “Bharat Prime does not confirm the claims of 24 children.” Upon further investigation, we discovered that the YouTube channel ‘Apna AJ‘ regularly posts similar comedic videos(1, 2, 3), consistently featuring the same woman in various humorous scenarios. The video is not real but scripted, created for entertainment purpose.

Hence, it is evident from D-Intent Data’s Fact Check that the viral video of a woman claiming to have 24 children is scripted and has nothing to do with reality.
