A sensitive video purporting to show an innocent Palestinian child shot by Israeli forces in Jerusalem has gone viral. It depicts a boy lying down and with blood streaming from his head.

Verified accounts on twitter, including @drhossamsamy65 tweeted “Criminal Israeli Zionist settlers shot a Palestinian child, insulted her and shouted at her: “Dead, dead!” Extreme crime, cruelty and brutality, after which the Arab leaders involved in these crimes demand normalization with this criminal entity!!!” He further added the tweet made by Torah Judaism (“@TorahJudaism“).

What is the Actual Truth About this Incident? : Fact

In actuality, this is an old video that shows a stab attacker who was shot by security personnel after he and his cousin stabbed two Israeli teenagers who were riding bikes on a street in Pisgat Zeev, Jerusalem, in October 2015. He was given a 9.5-year prison term; he was not innocent.

ynet news clarified this after it posted an article on this incident with the headline “2 stabbing attacks in Jerusalem within one hour”. It also mentioned in another article that in the video, Manasra is seen bleeding out on the ground while a group of Israelis surround him, swearing and wishing him dead. A passerby captured footage of teenage terrorist Ahmed Manasra in one of these videos. He and his 15-year-old cousin carried out the stabbing attack in Pisgat Ze’ev, which left a 13-year-old and a 21-year-old with serious injuries. We also visited The Times of Israel, which published an article on this incident on August 3, 2016 with the headline “Israel approves jailing terrorists from age 12”. The Jerusalem Post confirmed in their article that in the Pisgat Ze’ev neighbourhood of Jerusalem, 13-year-old Ahmed Manasra and his 15-year-old cousin Hassan Manasra are chasing after a terrified Israeli man they just stabbed, then they give up and look for another victim.
