There have been reports that Jalam Singh, a man, was subjected to torture by police at the police station when he went to submit a report or application.

The tweet has received an about more than 3k views on X.

Several accounts on twitter, including Tribhuwan Lal (“@TribhuwanLal13“), Kaushambi raj (“@Sandeep00615024“), @RajsattaP62263 also made the same claim that the bulldozer owner’s inspector and constable shocked the victim with third-degree electric shock in the station incharge’s chamber after the victim reported robbery. According to police clarification, on December 16th, Arvind Kumar and Shyam Kumar got into a fight over driving a JCB under the influence of alcohol; Jalam Singh intervened and started fighting. Following receipt of the information, local police issued the challan to both parties in the honorable court The accusations are unfounded and untrue.
