ANALYSIS: Misleading

FACT: A out of context mute video is being circulated on social media in which some people including women can be seen thrashing, harassing and humiliating a helpless man tied with a rope.But accused and victim are related and of same caste. Accused looked at sisters and daughters with wrong intention, so he got into such situation. Users just sharing the video and highlighting victim’s identity. Upon research we found that the victim belongs to Rajasthan who was living at his sister’s place in UP Meerut, His brother-in-law and sister were having enmity with the neighbors(relatives). When they were out, accused tied & beat him up on the allegations of looking at girls with ill intention.Police has arrested 4 accused in this case who are his relatives, matter is being investigated. Nothing to do with caste or religion,As this matter was of mutual enmity and among related.

INTENT: Caste based hatred propaganda misinformation spreader accounts sharing mute video with false claim to create unrest in the state.
