Profiles including Maze (“@Maze_6999“), KM Aadil Hussain (“@km_aadil“), Alok Kunmar (“@kumaralok554“) also tweeted about the video being circulated on the social media. All of them claimed that very offensive religious slogans against a particular community were made during the IND vs PAK match.

The truth is that it is a digitally altered video which is making the rounds on religious hate and circulated by some misinformation propaganda accounts.
IND vs PAK match took place in the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on Oct 14,2023. The voice in the video was added from a viral audio file that has been available online for a few years. The video has been digitally altered and has nothing to do with offensive religious slogans.The patriotic song “Vande Mataram” was played when the players were exchanging handshakes, according to the original visuals. Nothing to do with derogatory phrases directed against a particular community.
