What is the Actual Truth About the Video? : Fact
The truth is that during the battle against ISIS, an Iraqi soldier gets shot in the head while attempting to demonstrate his machine gun skills.
We visited AMERICAN MILITARY NEWS, which published an article on this incident on September 28, 2017. The same picture from the video clip was attached in the article with the headline “Watch an Iraqi soldier get shot in the head while showboating on camera”.
The Iraqi soldier looked back at the camera in the footage and starts to drop his weapon after waving to it and firing several rounds over a ridge without hitting anything in particular. He is hit in the head almost instantly by an incoming round, which causes him to fall to the ground and tosses his hat into the air. In 2014, the Iraqi soldier was shot by an ISIS sniper near Fallujah.
