Verfied accounts on twitter, including Zogam Mosi (“@Zogam_Mosi“) claimed that after a mob attempts to steal weapons from the Manipur Rifles camp, curfew is reimposed in Imphal. Over 6000 weapons and over 5 lakh rounds of ammunition have already been looted, but no one has been caught yet. According to police, the combined security forces successfully repelled the armed miscreants’ attempt to loot weapons and ammunition from the 1st MR Battalion overnight.
