In NDTV, it was reported on November 25, 2014, that Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially handed over a HAL Dhruv Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) to the Nepal Army during his visit, marking a key moment in India–Nepal defense cooperation.
In NMF News (YouTube), visuals of the ceremony were shown, confirming that the Dhruv Mark-III helicopter was gifted by India to Nepal to aid in disaster relief and strengthen its military capabilities.
In Army Technology, the defense portal confirmed that India later delivered additional Dhruv helicopters to the Nepalese Army, underlining that Nepal operates its own Dhruv fleet, distinct from the Indian Army’s.
