Several other accounts, including @KarachinewsA made the same claim that President Ebrahim Raïssi’s helicopter crash investigation resulted in the arrest of two Indian diplomats, Navendu Shekhar and Atheeth Sajeevan, in Iran. The archive can be read from above.
What is the Actual Truth About this Incident? : Fact
The truth is that these assertions are made up and fraudulent. Neither Mr. Atheeth Sajeevan, the political second secretary, nor Mr. Navendu Shekhar, the head of the chancery, are detained. Both the Indian and Iranian embassies deny making any such claims. No such stories from the national or international media, or from inside are there. So, the claim that two Indian diplomats, Navendu Shekhar, and Atheeth Sajeevan, were arrested in Iran amid President Ebrahim Raïssi’s Helicopter crash investigation is not true at all.
