He was posted in J&K, was involved in killing Kashmiris under occupation. He was on his way to Jharkhand on leave when a magnetic bomb toppled his vehicle killing him”
Truth about the video of BSF Jawan, fact-check
As soon as the post containing the video came to our knowledge, we conducted research and found media reports regarding the video. According to media reports, A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan lost his life when a speeding car overturned inside the Chenani-Nashri Tunnel. The victim was shifted to CHC Chenani, but he succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital. It was not a targeted killing; it was an accident.
As per the report, Police says, the Xylo car, bearing registration number JK01P-7905 was on its way from Srinagar towards Udhampur when it turned turtle due to overspeeding, resulting into serious head injury to one passenger.
The victim was shifted to CHC Chenani, but he succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital.The deceased was identified as Ct. 26 bn BSF, namely Amit Kumar Shukla (30), son of Upendra Shukla, resident of village Singra Khurd of Jharkhand. Chenani Police have registered the case in this connection.
