The D-Intent Data Team conducted a detailed frame-by-frame investigation and keyword research.Our investigation led us to the Al Jazeera English YouTube channel, which published the original report titled “Anger in Bangladesh: Violent protests after the death of a student leader.” In this authentic video, journalist Tanvir Chowdhury is only reporting on the unrest and protests following the death of Osman Hadi.
At no point does the journalist claim, suggest, or confirm India’s involvement in the killing. The viral clip circulating online has been digitally altered by selectively editing visuals and misrepresenting the context of the report to push a false narrative.
