An account named @hindugj has shared the video on X( Formerly Twitter) and said. โIn Kerala, a woman supporting RSS was dragged out of her car and shot by Muslims in the middle of the market, after which a warning was also given to Hindus – if anyone supports RSS and BJP, this will be done to him.โ
Another user @Congress_Indira has also shared the same video on X (Formerly Twitter) and said. โIn Kerala, a woman supporting RSS was dragged out of her car and shot by Muslims in the middle of the market, after which a warning was also given to Hindus – if anyone supports RSS and BJP, this will be done to him.โ
@AchalSharmaBjp has also shared the video with a caption which translates to. โIn #Kerala, a woman supporting @RSSorg was dragged out of her car and shot by Muslims in the middle of the market, after which Hindus were also warned – if anyone supports #RSS and @BJP4India, this will be done to himI think now the time has come to teach these Jihadis a lessonโ.

Unraveling the Truth: Gauri Lankesh Murder Street Drama Misrepresented as Real Violence
As soon as the video came to our knowledge, we tried to find if the claims are true or false. Then we did a reverse image search of some key frames from the viral video on Google which led us to a facebook post dated 8 September 2017 on an account named โDyfi Kalikavu MCโ. According to the facebook post. The video is related to a street drama based on the murder case of journalist Gauri Lankesh, who was assassinated in Bengaluru on September 5, 2017.
The claims being circulated on social media are false and self-invented.
Intent
Influencers are circulating old videos of street drama with misleading claims,. To set their narrative based on religion to create communal disharmony in the country.
