The truth about the video of Man strangled to death, Fact Check
As soon as the posts containing the video and claims came to our notice. Subsequently, we conducted research and analysis of the incident. We found that the incident was unrelated to Muslim individuals.
To verify the claims made by propagandists. We performed relevant keyword searches and found multiple reports regarding the incident. According to reports (1, 2, 3, 4), a tragic incident occurred in Rajasthan’s Dausa district on March 12, 2025, where a 25-year-old student named Hansraj Meena was assaulted and killed after refusing to have Holi colours applied to him. Hansraj, who was preparing for competitive examinations, was studying at a local library in Ralawas village when three individuals—identified as Ashok, Bablu, and Kaluram—approached him with the intent to apply colours. Upon his refusal, the trio allegedly kicked him, beat him with belts, and one of them strangled him, leading to his death.
Therefore, it is evident from verified sources that the incident was not related to religious hate crimes against Muslim individuals.
