Another user @Khalvompu3 (Archived ) on X wrote, The Meitei militants in Manipur police uniforms randomly firing at Kuki village. Where CRPF were guarding the village as can be heard in the dialogue. This is the proof of Meitei militants killing the CRPF personnel.

As soon as the posts containing the video of individuals firing from inside a vehicle came to our knowledge, we tried to find if the claims made by users are true or false.
During research we found a report on “The Indian Express”, as per the report, A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man identified Ajay Kumar Jha(43) was killed and two Manipur police personnel were injured when they were “ambushed” Sunday, around six kilometres from the centre of Jiribam town.Police and the Manipur government said “suspected Kuki militants” were behind the ambush.
Responding to the claims made by the users. The Manipur police issued a statement and clarified that These are Manipur Police personnels taking refuge in BP vehicle and firing back at militants who ambushed SFs on 14/7/2024 in Jiribam District.
