Sharing the image on X (Formerly Twitter) @anaya8878 wrote, “How can the Chinese compete with us? There is a glass bridge there and a mesh bridge here. #Iran #Ayodhya
Another user @Krishna35121667 has also disseminated the image and wrote. ‘What can the Chinese say about us? There is a glass bridge there, here is a net bridge. Contractor @singh_asarpal And the one who gives the contract is #Chor_Chowkidar”. Later, he deleted the post.

As soon as the posts containing the image and claims came to our notice. Subsequently, we conducted research and analysis of the photo and found that the image is not from India but from Bangladesh.
To verify the claims made by the users. We performed a reverse image search on Google Lens. This led us to media reports containing the same image published in July 2024. According to the media reports (1, 2), the image shows a bridge constructed on an iron framework that has become unusable in Tepura village, within the Tepura Haldia union of Amtali upazila in Barguna district.
Therefore, it is evident from verified sources that the viral image was not from India but an old image from Bangladesh.
