Fact Check: Old image of Sadhguru with his daughter Radhe Jaggi circulated with misleading claims

A photograph of a young woman sitting on Sadhguru’s lap has been widely shared on social media with misleading claims implying an inappropriate or romantic relationship. However, these allegations are entirely false. The woman in the image is Radhe Jaggi, Sadhguru’s daughter. The photo was originally posted by Sadhguru himself in 2018 on the occasion of Father’s Day.

Sharing the image on X (Formerly Twitter), @anarkaliofara wrote, “What is the matter with this? We heard about the allegation of murder of the wife. Has anything else come up?” (Translated from Hindi).

Propaganda account @Karishma_voice also shared the image and wrote, “If the government changes, his ashram should be investigated, this man is under suspicion!”.

Several other users, influencers and propagandists have also disseminated the photo and made similar claims. Their posts can be seen here: @bhardwaj2509, @ShivamYadavjii.

The truth about the photo of Sadhguru, Fact Check

As soon as the posts containing the image and claims came to our notice. Subsequently, we conducted research and analysis of the image. We found that the woman in the photo is Radhe Jaggi, Sadhguru’s daughter.

To verify the claims made by the users. We performed a reverse image search using Google Lens. This led us to a post on X (Formerly Twitter) uploaded by Sadhguru on the occasion of Father’s Day in June 2018.

Therefore, it is evident from D-Intent Data’s Fact Check that the woman in the photo is Radhe Jaggi, Sadhguru’s daughter. Nothing to do with harassment and inappropriate behaviour.
