As soon as the posts containing the video of a massive explosion and claims came to our notice. Subsequently, we conducted research and analysis of the video. And found that this video was not from the ongoing Israel-Palestine or Israel-Lebanon conflicts but an old video from China.
To verify the claims made by the users. We performed a reverse image search of some key frames from the viral video on Google Lens. This led us to previous posts and media reports containing the same visuals. According to the initial posts and media reports, this video shows an explosion at a Chemical plant in China, in 2015.
Therefore, it is evident from D-Intent Data’s Fact Check that the video of a massive explosion was not from the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East. But an old video from China.
