According to the media reports (1, 2), the accused, identified as Abieser Pinillos, a resident of Port St. Lucie, has been arrested—indicating he is neither Indian nor Hindu. The incident took place on March 13th, at approximately 4:30 PM, involving a 9-year-old special needs child aboard an ESE school bus in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The bus was occupied by other students, the driver, and Pinillos, who was serving as the bus aide.
Therefore, it is evident from verified sources that the accused was neither Indian nor Hindu.
