The truth about the video of Christian community, Fact Check
As soon as the posts containing the video and claims came to our notice. Subsequently, we conducted research and analysis of the video. We found that the video was not from Punjab, but an old video from Jammu and Kashmir.
To verify the claims made by the users. We performed a reverse image search of some key frames from the viral video using Google Lens. This led us to a media report containing the same visuals. According to the report, The video is actually from Jammu and Kashmir, where the procession was organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Joint Churches Fellowship as part of the Good Friday and Easter observances in March 2024. The procession is a reenactment of the Passion of Christ, a traditional Christian ritual symbolizing Jesus Christ’s journey to the crucifixion, commonly observed during Holy Week.
Furthermore, upon closely analyzing the video, we identified the “Ghulam Rasool and Sons” clothing store in the background. Using Google Maps, we located the shop, and the street view confirmed its exact location in Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir.

Therefore, it is evident from D-Intent Data’s Fact Check that the video was not from Punjab, but an old video from Jammu and Kashmir.
