This incident has sparked outrage and led to various claims regarding the identity of the perpetrator, with some suggesting he belongs to a particular minority community. However, the police have clarified that the accused has been identified as Vinay Yadav and has been arrested.
Sharing the incident video on X (Formerly Twitter) propagandist account @ajaychauhan41 wrote. Reel Jihad(Indicating involvement of Muslim individual), In Jhansi’s Navabad police station area, a bike-riding reelbaaz did a lewd act with an elderly man riding a bicycle.

The truth behind the claims, Fact Check
As soon as the posts containing the disturbing visuals and claims came to our notice. Subsequently, we conducted research and analysis of the incident and found that the accused didn’t belong to a particular community.
To verify the claims made by the users. We performed a relevant keyword search and found Jhansi Police’s statement regarding the incident. According to the police and media reports( 1, 2), an Instagram influencer did this prank to attract viewers. The accused has been arrested and identified as Vinay Yadav, he doesn’t belong to the minority community.
Hence, it is evident from D-Intent Data’s Fact Check that the accused was not from the minority community. But from the Hindu community.
