FACT:A video of Indian cricket team has gone viral on social media in which some players can be seen applying Tilak and some players & Staff can be seen refusing to apply Tilak on their forehead during the welcome at a hotel. Users sharing video with the claim that Muhammad Siraj and Umran Malik didn’t apply Tilak for religious beliefs but in the video it can be seen some “Hindu” staff of Indian Cricket team like Vikram Rathour and Hari Prasad Mohan didn’t apply tilak too.On other hand in an old image from previous welcome gesture ,Umran Malik can be seen applying Tilak on his forehead.
INTENT: Religious extremists sharing video to create communal disharmony among religious groups in the country and defiling major advantage of sports, unity.
