There is a video circulating that purports to show a group of young men acting dead in the ongoing fighting between Israel and Hamas.

Verified accounts on twitter, including @NiohBerg tweeted “Gee I wonder why the UN revised the death toll in Gaza down in half. Faking atrocities would be their national sport if “Palestine” was a country.” on May 15, 2024. The tweet has received an about 227.1k views on X.

Several other accounts, including @raviagrawal3 made the same claim that the video purporting to depict Palestinians staging that they are dead in the ongoing battle between Israel and Hamas has gone viral. The archive can be read from above.

What is the Actual Truth About this Incident? : Fact

In actuality, this is an outdated video of a Malaysian educational demonstration with no connection to Palestinians. Prior to the Gaza War, in August 2023, the video was uploaded. So, the claim that this video is from the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, where Palestinians faked to be dead is not true at all.
